A Message from the Fire Chief

Serving the residents of Avalon Fire Rescue District as your Fire Chief is the highest honor of my career. I am committed to ensuring our community is protected by a well-trained, highly skilled, and dedicated team of professionals who respond quickly and perform with competence, compassion, and professionalism.

I am proud of the members of Avalon Fire Rescue District. Every day, they provide dependable fire protection and emergency medical services to the people of this community. Their effectiveness comes from strong teamwork, ongoing training, and a sincere commitment to public service. Building a team of this quality has taken years of hard work and dedication, and maintaining it remains one of my top priorities.

Many residents may never need to call on us. However, should the need arise, whether in an emergency or a non-emergency, you can be confident that our personnel will be ready to provide service that meets or exceeds your expectations.

We hold ourselves to a high standard of performance and accountability. If you ever feel our service has not met that standard, I encourage you to contact me directly at rhowington@avalonfirerescue.com. Your input helps us continue to improve.

Respectfully,

Robbie Howington
